Payments and refund policy

We keep payments simple. A deposit by card or bank transfer confirms the booking; the balance is paid in cash or by card on the day of the tour.

How the payment works

  1. Enquiry. You tell us the date, resort and number of skiers through the enquiry form or by email. We reply with confirmed availability and a total for your group.
  2. Deposit. To hold the booking we ask for a 30% deposit. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express through our payment link, by PayPal, or by SEPA bank transfer (for EU customers). The deposit is non-refundable within seven days of the tour.
  3. Confirmation. Once the deposit is received, we send a written confirmation with the pick-up time, driver details, your driver's phone number and a kit checklist. You are booked.
  4. Balance. The balance is paid on the day of the tour, in Euros. You can pay in cash to the driver, or by card through a portable terminal in the minivan. Add the resort costs — lift pass, equipment rental, lunch — on top; those you pay directly to the resort shops in Euros (cash or card accepted everywhere).

Cards and bank transfer

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. Card payments go through a Stripe-based payment link; the merchant on your statement will be "Barcelona Ski Tours" or "Swish Tours". We do not store card details on file.

SEPA bank transfer is available for EU customers who prefer not to pay by card — ask for IBAN details when you confirm the booking. Deposit by bank transfer must be received at least five business days before the tour date to allow for clearance.

Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellations more than 7 days before the tour date — full deposit refund.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the tour date — deposit non-refundable.
  • Weather cancellation by the resort (closed lifts, high winds, lightning risk) — full refund of the deposit, or free rescheduling to another day during your Barcelona stay. We make this call the evening before the tour based on the resort's own operational status.
  • Weather cancellation by you (you decide the forecast isn't good enough but the resort is open) — standard terms apply: refund up to 7 days before, no refund within 7 days.
  • Illness. If you cancel for medical reasons we will refund the full deposit regardless of notice period, no questions asked. Travel insurance is recommended for the mountain costs on top (equipment, lift pass).

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes winter sports and emergency medical evacuation. Ski injuries at resort require specialist policies — a standard travel policy usually does not cover a torn ACL from a chairlift fall. If you don't currently have winter sports cover, we can suggest providers that sell day cover.

Prices and VAT

All prices quoted are in Euros and include Spanish VAT where applicable. For bookings paid from outside the EU, the VAT line is itemised on your receipt. For companies booking on behalf of employees who need a corporate invoice, we issue proper VAT invoices on request — email [email protected] with your billing details and we'll produce one before the tour.
