What clothes do I need for skiing?

Here is a list of clothes and accessories that you will need for skiing when you join a day ski tour from BarcelonaSkiTours.com.

You must have a waterproof and warm ski wear like a ski-jacket, ski-gloves, ski trousers, ski-socks. Also bring sun-glasses with UV protection. Usually you should not need ski-goggles, because we only go when it is not snowing, so normal sun-glasses should be fine.

For inner wear you can wear long underwear or innerwear is nice to have in December and January when it can be if really cold, but generally it is not necessary in February, March and early April.

When travelling to and from the ski-station and for walking around the ski station you will need warm clothes and a woolen cap, and scarf. If you don't have these items, then you can buy them at the ski rental shops at the resorts, or in all major sports shops in Barcelona like Decathalon or the sports department of Corte Ingles department store

CAN BE RENTED. Skis, ski sticks and ski boots can be rented at all ski resorts. Bring photo ID for the rental. It is important to know your weight and to bring your own ski socks.

Without proper form-fitting ski socks the boots will not fit properly and will be very uncomfortable. You should bring or buy your own ski socks

BRING YOURSELF. Sun glasses are a MUST HAVE FOR SKIING because the combination of sun and snow is very bright and can cause eye damage without sunglasses. Ski goggles are nice to have in overcast, foggy or snowy weather, but generally you won't need ski google on Barcelona Ski tours because we only complete tours when the weather is clear and sunny.



BRING YOURSELF. MUST HAVE for journey up and for time spent in ski station when not on ski slopes.

BRING YOURSELF. Sun lotion and lip balm are strongly recommended if you do not wan to get badly sunburned.
